The Bully Breed Project
Thirty-one pit bulls and bully breeds. Thirty-one stories. One month to apply.
This October, in honor of National Pit Bull Awareness Month, I'm selecting 31 dogs for a complimentary portrait session
and a $500 credit toward artwork purchases of $1000 or more
Applications are open for the month of October only.
Pit bulls and bully breeds are some of the most loyal, loving, and misunderstood dogs out there. I've spent years around animal rescue — as a volunteer, a foster advocate, and a photographer who's watched what happens when someone finally sees their dog the way their family already does.
This project is my way of putting that on record. Thirty-one dogs, photographed the same way I photograph every client: with real light, real personality, and a final piece worth keeping on a wall — not just a phone.
Apply anytime in October. Tell me about your dog — a photo and their story is all it takes.
I personally read every application. I'm looking for the dogs and the stories that belong in this project.
Sessions are scheduled afterward, on a rolling basis through the next few months.

I have personally had 4 pitbulls so I know and love the breed quite well. Additionally, I’ve photographed over 150 dogs and spent years working hands-on with animals through volunteer work with rescue organizations. This background has given me a deep understanding of dog behavior, body language, and stress signals—something most photographers simply don’t have
